Ground Frog Day in Downtown Snohomish - Saturday, February 2nd 2013 from 11am-1pm

" GroundFrog Day is... a farcical and fun attempt to take the doldrums days of winter and turn it into an event about laughter and royal whimsy through a West Coast adaptation of Ground Hog day folklore.

On February 2, 2013 Snohomish Slew challenges Punxsutawney Phil to a battle for the most accurate weather forecast. What will be our fate? Will spring arrive in 6 weeks or will we be ribbitt-ed by showers and slush. Slews frog-nostication and weather prediction occur at Avenue A and First Street in Downtown Snohomish, Washington. The Ceremony is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
