Learn About Early 1900’s Snoqualmie Valley Life at the Duvall Heritage Festival!
Celebrate the “good old days” at a day of hands-on fun, learning,
and reminiscing at the Duvall Heritage Festival - a FREE family festival for everyone!
Activities include:
- Butter churning, clothes scrubbing, crafts, and more.
- Traditional Native American drumming.
- A scarecrow contest!
- Folk music by the Novelty Hill Ramblers, local folk songs and story telling by Bob Antone, and fiddling music by Tinker’s Dram.
- Wool spinning demonstrations.
- Tours of the National Landmark Dougherty Farmhouse, bunk house, tool shed and milk house.
- A Model A car and antique tractors and quilts.
- A guided birding walk on the Snoqualmie Valley trail (http://eastsideaudubon.org/calendar/family-birding-walk-duvall-1)
- Information from local organizations such as Mountains to Sound Greenway, Sno-Valley Tilth, Eastside Audubon Society, and Tualco Grange.
This free celebration of our history is co-sponsored by the
Duvall Historical Society, and the city of Duvall Cultural Commission. Parking
is available at Holy Innocents Catholic Church next door. Handicapped parking available on site. A free shuttle will transport visitors from
the Quilt Festival on Duvall’s Main Street to the Dougherty Farmstead.
