It is finally here and there will be tons of live entertainment and special performances, celebrity guests like Tom Skerritt, John Keister and Paul Deanno, special exhibits such as retro TV shows from1962, footage from the 1962 fair, a NASA exhibit and more, food (26+ food trucks), fun - like kids rides, a flash mob, the Roller City Rat Girls, and surprises too plus, retro souvenirs, a beer garden (for the adults!), skateboarding party and more as part of their celebration of the 50th anniversary of the 1962 World’s Fair!

(Majority of the events are free with just a handful requiring a fee.)

And Seattle Center's Facebook posts = Bonus News!

Our 50th anniversary is this Saturday, April 21 we’re going retro in more ways than our Galaxy Gold roof. We’re opening the doors early (7:30 a.m.) and offering $1 admission, the original price in ‘62, while supplies last. Tickets will be good for a 1-hr time block. Supplies are limited and tickets will sell out so come early to secure admission and stick around for our ‘60s DJ, retro-souvenirs, and photo opportunities with “Elvis.” For a small donation visitors can also enjoy a special Space Needle 50th Anniversary donut, created by Mighty-O Donuts. Come celebrate with us!

Cool huh?!! But wait, there's more!

BTW: Did we mention that if you park in Seattle Center parking lots before 10am this Saturday, April 21st you'll get to park for free all day? http://seattlecenter.com/transportation/parking/
